GENERAL DENTISTRY

Pine Tree Dental Care is committed to keeping your dental health in check! We offer a wide-range of general dentistry services and put a strong emphasis on oral hygiene and health. We aim to avoid the progression of oral diseases and maintain oral health by offering the following services:

Exams, Digital X-Rays, and Cleanings: These services are recommended every six months to prevent cavities, gum disease, and promote general oral health.

Tooth-Colored Fillings: Metal fillings are a thing of the past! These blend in beautifully with your natural teeth.

Root Canal Therapy: Sometimes damage occurs to the pulp in a tooth and it becomes infected. Left untreated, the infection could cause serious nerve damage, pain, and swelling. Root canal therapy involves removing the damaged pulp, cleaning, shaping, filling, and finally sealing the tooth.

Periodontal Care: Periodontal disease, also known as gum disease, can result in inflammation, major damage to the soft tissue and bone that support the teeth, and tooth loss.

Tooth Extractions: There are several reasons for a tooth extraction, including tooth decay, crowded dentition, or gum disease.

TMJ Therapy: TMJs (the temporomandibular joints) and jaw muscles open and close your mouth. A dental examination will check the joints and muscles for tenderness, clicking, or popping.

Oral Cancer Screenings: The goal of oral cancer screenings is to identify oral cancer early which improves the chances of successful treatment.

Emergency Dental Care: Emergency examples include a broken, chipped, or cracked tooth, knocked out teeth, or a broken jaw.

For preventative care, we recommend you visit us every six months. Otherwise, if you have a concern or oral problem, we suggest giving Pine Tree Dental Care a call right away at 207-781-4216.
